Repeat Prescriptions

medication4Any medication you need following a consultation will be dispensed at the time. If you feel you can be helped with medication but without a consultation, your request will be passed to the doctor. Whenever possible requests for repeat prescriptions should, for the sake of accuracy and safety, be made in writing, preferably on the counterfoil of the previous computerised prescription. There are various methods to order your repeat prescriptions:

  • Online: You can order your repeat prescription directly through this site. Click on the link above and complete the simple registration form. NB - if two or more patients have registered for on-line repeat prescriptions using the same email address, on step 1 of the repeat prescription request form, please use the drop down arrow key in the "saved requests" bar and select "new patient".  This will enable you to enter and save details for a second user.
  • In Person: Handing in the counterfoil of the previous computerised prescription during the hours of 9.00 am to 6.30 pm. Two full working days are required to process requests and the cut off time for each working day is 5.00 pm.
  • Post: We can receive requests for medication by the regular postal service or by patients dropping their requests into our letterbox after working hours and at the weekend.
  • Fax: On 01823 491024
  • By Telephone: If you need make a request by telephone, please ring our Prescription Line on 01823 490903 between the hours of 11.00 am - 2:00 pm.

Repeat prescriptions can be dealt with only on the authority of a doctor and two full working days notice are required to process each request - please don't wait until you have run out.
